"My experience with MSL's new software Echocardiographic Interpretation Software comes from a clinical hospital setting. I have been supervising echo labs for the last twenty years to include mobile labs as well as large inpatient labs. Our problem has always been getting timely reports to the ordering physicians with accurate, easy to understand results with limited over-reading physician involvement. This has always been a legal as well as a moral dilemma. This new program satisfies both of these concerns. The report clearly states that it is a preliminary report by the sonographer, and easily changed to a confirmed report on physician review. I can readily see the advantage of such a program for any lab large or small hospital based mobile service, private practice, or clinic setting. Turn around time, storage, ease of use and accuracy all combined to make a very useful tool for our lab. Personally, as a user, I appreciate how easy it is to manipulate and/or address whatever information is needed to be conveyed. The staff at MSL4U have been very agreeable to suggestions and willing to update the program to suit the needs of all those day to day sonographers out there that need a tool to make their jobs easier, more efficient, and with a lot fewer complaints about turn around time.
